FLOOR PLAN

This apartment design was intended to be located in the heart of downtown Sacramento, reflecting the city lifestyle while still creating a sense of comfort for residents. For this residential design a key element incorporated was the use of natural lighting. Placed along the North wall is an abundant amount of glazing. Not only does this allow the space to really light up but it also incorporates a balcony for residents to overlook the city and provide a space for entertaining. The space planning is arranged so that the major communal spaces are along the glazing to create an open and bright interior. Materials and fixtures were specifically chosen to mirror the urban location as well as reflect the natural lighting exposure.
